I see unearned runs. Boston has absolutely awful defenders all over the diamond. How has that played into the results? Thanks Lucas looked f***ing great. If you can watch the replay I would suggest it because his body language as the game went on really stood out to me. Boston defense is bleh. Certainly played a role.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 Only Straw and Gimenez score on that ball
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 Bichette is going to win the batting title this year. He can smell the $$$$$ Spanky99 1

I agree, but the platinum glove guy should have at least knocked it down and not let it go through even if he couldn't make the miracle play at 1b
Masterbather Verified Member Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 This game ended up being a lot more fun than the initial lineup card would have suggested. Well, so far...

Been calling for him to be starting every game possible until Varsho is ready. He raked in the Spring and looks to have carried it over while filling a massive need for us defensively with Varsho out.

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 When I see Fenway mostly empty by the 8th inning I feel joy in my heart. Spanky99 and Terminator 1 1
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 Cowards are losing and hit our 500 million dollar man. Typical Boston move. Terminator and Omar 2

glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 I really can't wait for the heater Tony is going to go on eventually, because he's been brutal so far. Brownie19 1

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 I mean, if you're not gonna pitch Fluharty with a 5 run lead... when are ya gonna use him? max silver 1

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 Another case of a guy rushing the throw unnecessarily. Saw Boston do that earlier too to the same result.

Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 Fluharty pitching exactly in the situation he should to start off his career. Schneider is crazy for giving the guy Soto to start lol HomeRunHomer 1
Masterbather Verified Member Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 Boy this must be a frustrating game for Red Sox fans. Probably looked like a gimme.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 We're fortunate that the bottom half of their lineup is ass. Fluharty just seems like he'd get lit up by good hitters.

Yes, I see the others on the next page. You (and others) need to understand that Schneider made the team out of STing and you don't just give up on him after like 10 at bats. He's going to get "some" rope. I don't think it will be a lot - I honestly don't, and I'll be at the front of the line complaining if he does (without results). But he's going to get more than the 10 at bats he entered the day with before he's cut. Complaining it about it every time he bats is nauseating. max silver 1
