Same ole

Fat a$$ Kirk who’s navel almost touching the ground during his batting stance with zero affect and zero personality who can’t drive clutch runs even with his life dependent on it

same Manager who thinks he has all the answers

and lastly same Ross Atkins

Schneider didn't want Soto to get that third look at him. Understandable.

Of course... we wouldn't want to "expose" our ACE to the other team...

Ya let's take out our ace who has been gunning everyone down for a no name rookie because he's a lefty.  f*** this management man lol

To be fair, Soto is like 8-15 with 12 walks against Gausman in his career.  He didn't make anyone miss today (despite good results).  I don't like Gausman facing Soto either.

You do?  Im not saying I want Fluharty there either.  Not many Jays pitchers I'm comfortable with facing Soto there.

Gausman was not dominant today guys.  Almost zero swing and miss.  He's no better of a matchup against Soto for the 3rd time.

Come on man... you make it sound like we took out Gausman for a prime Andrew Miller.  When our choices are what they are from the left side then you keep Gausman in no question... especially when Gausman didn't give up a single hit since the 1st inning.

Little seemed like the obvious choice if you were going to a lefty...

It isn't difficult to see both sides.

I don't really like the move but at least its not an obvious blunder like Ubaldo over Zach Britton

You have a bullpen, you have to use it. Can't run away from a terrible bullpen from April. If the bullpen isn't good enough that's on the GM to fix. If anything, you stick it to the GM by using his guys.

By the end of April.

First Blue Jays strikeout comes in the 7th inning. Just unacceptable. You aren't going to win games if you don't miss bats.

It's really difficult to see using a guy who you didn't think was good enough to break camp over Lovelady but all of a sudden is good enough to face Soto in an important situation...

They really have to stop sending Davis out there against lefties.  Even in spring training this year when he was hitting good, he hit way better against righties.  Basically the only time that he's ever hit lefties better was when he first came up and mashed everything.

We still have 0 runs. I think if we were in the lead they probably go Little in that situation.

If he can’t hit lefties then he literally has no utility on the team. You can’t justify pinch hitting him over a lefty hitter against right handed pitching, the only guys you’d feel more comfortable against RHP are Straw and Heineman, maybe Ernie, and he can’t cover their positions. He’s not an MLB player if he’s a RHH with little defensive utility, a mediocre baserunner and also can’t be trusted in a platoon role.
