The real question you have to ask yourself is would you rather have him make this spot start or Easton Lucas. It really does just come down to that.

They're both equally as bad. It's not like we don't have Bloss who is clearly better than both, but it seems they want to give him a little more upper minors seasoning. Yariel is also clearly a better option although it seems they're keeping him as a high leverage ish reliever with the injured guys shortening our RP depth.

I don't get the point of replays if the only way to overturn it is if the umpire made the worst mistake of his life, rather than just an obvious missed call. Clement was safe. Just barely, but he was. Overturn it and make sure the right call is made. Just a stupid system.

Look i don't wanna sound like a conspiracy nut, but don't be surprised if the Jays don't have a single close call go their way for the rest of the year. NY is not going to overturn anything unless its 100% clear as day the wrong call.
