The Jays couldn't guarantee he'd be on the main roster once everyone got healthy probably while the Yankees had no problem giving him 2M with their pitching injuries.  It was just a braindead decision when it was announced and looks even worse when it's costing us losses

It's unfortunate that our new player development facility hasn't been able to address some of the most obvious issues with our young players.

I mean sometimes guys just aren't talented enough to adjust. Davis Schneider was not highly heralded as a prospect, and certainly not for his tools. He might just literally not be able to adjust without disrupting some other part of his game.
