The O's lost 24-2. That's f***ing amazing.

Their former backup catcher Austin Wynns went 6-7 with 6 RBI.

After today's game, 3 of the White Sox 5 wins have come against the Red Sox so far this year. They are 3-3 against the Red Sox this year and 2-13 against everyone else.

They've played 6 times already and they play again tomorrow! Red Sox schedule has been complete cake up to this point

Padres designated hitter Luis Arraez suffered an apparent head or neck injury after a big collision with Astros second baseman Mauricio Dubon in tonight’s game.  Arraez was thrown out at first base while trying to bunt for a base hit, and ran headfirst into Dubon’s shoulder while the second baseman was covering the bag.  Arraez was down on the field and almost motionless for several minutes, and had to be carted off once his head and neck area was stabilized by a brace.  He was conscious, and gave a thumbs up while being removed from the field

BTS streaming Charlie Morton today in two fantasy leagues 🤣

Goodfellas GIF

Didn't start him in one, and in the other I was miles behind in the three rate cats and wanted to lock down Ks

JimmyC did this to me last week when I was chasing stats, these dingleberries have no clue, lol. It's not like Morton wasn't decent up until this season. Seems he's hit the proverbial age wall in his 40's.

Pick him up for his next start. I dare you!

Tatis has had a tremendous season so far and looks to be the front runner for MVP this season. I think we forget he's only 26 still. Hopefully he remains healthy cuz he's one of the most fun players to watch.

Triston McKenzie was DFA'd by the Guardians.

He looks cooked but still only 27.

No options left makes him pretty unappealing because whatever issues he has would need to be worked out on the MLB level. But with Easton Lucas crashing to earth it would be worthwhile to look under the hood to see if there is anything we can fix (which I doubt).

I think he's done. Injuries did a number on him, the stuff backed up, and the command went completely out the window. If even the Cleveland pitching factory is giving up on him there's little chance left for him save for toiling around the minors for a bit and rebuilding himself from scratch. Not even sure he gets claimed on waivers.

The Stuff+ models grades his Location+ as 58 which is like, unfathomably bad. He must be hanging every pitch or missing badly nowhere near the zone.

Was watching the SNB game last night after the Leafs were crushing the Sens haha. Tatis clobbered that ball he hit for a HR to give the Padres a 3-2 lead.

The A's are promoting Nick Kurtz, the number 4 pick from last year's draft and a consensus top ~25-50 prospect. The interesting part is that as 1B only guy, this presents a weird positional logjam for them with Tyler Soderstrom starting off the year as a top 10 hitter in the league. Kurtz is 1B/DH only.

Soderstrom is a former catcher who's rarely played there the last couple of seasons, and had been 1B only this year.

Brent Rooker is Yordan Alvarez esque as a top of the order offensive force who ideally should not see the field as a defender, but now likely will?

Shea Langeliers has generally graded as a rather poor if not awful defensive catcher with big pop.

JJ Bleday and Lawrence Butler have emerged as legit outfielders, the latter being a player that they're committed to building around.

The A's are going to have a pretty weird defense, but that lineup is going to rake.

I'm actively rooting against the A's, because John Fisher deserves failure

I'm floating in that boat for the same reason, they don't have the pitching and in that minor league park it makes for a bad recipe, they will rake though.

Strider to the IL... Hotlanta in shambles, love to see it.  😜

What a disaster of a season so far

Only the Pirates and Rockies have worse records in the NL

Atlanta has won 3 in a row. Starting to right the ship.

Sucks about losing Strider. He looked good in Toronto last week.

Griffin Conine hit a ball 117.4mph this year

Reminder, Toronto traded him for Jonathan Villar, one of the worst Blue Jays of all time. -0.7 WAR in 22 games.

Braves have won 4 straight.

And?

They’re not in shambles.

Yes they got off to a bad start and have been hit hard by the injury bug, though it looks like they’re starting to turn things around as expected. 4 game win streak is definitely a good start!

You didn’t think Atlanta was going to play to a .278 winning percentage all year?

Keaschall batting 3rd today.  Quite a vote of confidence by the Twinkies.

The Twins have the fifth worst offense in the majors thus far. This seems less like a vote of confidence and more that they desperately need some offense at the top.

Fair, they do suck.  If Emmanuel Rodriguez wasn't struggling, he'd be getting the call soon.
