We are one inning away from possibly having an ALDS with 3 Central teams. Yankees fans are going to go nuts if they don't make the World Series this year (more than usual).

Was just going to say, if Erceg nails this down the Yankees look like far and away the most complete team left in the AL

What a great day to be an Orioles hater. Eliminated with their 10th straight playoff loss, and now have Santander and Burnes hitting free agency

Erceg to the Orioles: You can call me daddy!:P

He was impressive. Slammed the door shut in both games

The Royals are the type of team that could beat the Yankees. God I love post season ball.

Yeah probably will get good odds on the Royals as well. Definitely think they could upset the Yankees.

I like the Mets better tonight based on their pitching matchup, but rooting for the Brewers to tie things up!

They don't have the same caliber frontline pitching. That could still be the difference. They may have enough given the middle of their lineup but I don't see them as heavy favorites as I would if they had better pitching.

You absolutely love to see it

Their fanboys will be scrambling for new arguments after they fail to win a playoff game yet again

Unfortunately they are a complete and utter failure and the team just isn’t built for playoff baseball. I expect calls to fire the FO and the entire coaching staff soon.

This doesn't give Judge and Soto enough credit though

Like, the heart of the Yankees order isn't just better than the Tigers or Royals it's.... orders of magnitude better

Chourio is a star

Wasn't I trying to say this during the season and someone was arguing with me about it? Probably connorp because he only considers fantasy baseball.

The Tigers and Royals lineups are f***ing awful.

Yeah, but playoff baseball.:P

That being said the run differential of the Yankees facing the Royals this season tilts heavily in the Yankees favour. 42 vs 24.

I was thinking the same thing, what's it matter in a short series? Brownie, haven't you lived by this mantra, what I agree with by the way?
