Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Very bad luck! Who could expect notorious workhorse Christopher Sale getting injured unexpectedly K....
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Disgusting stuff from Michael King. Best performance from a starter today, and there’s been some seriously good ones taking the bump for game 1.

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Orioles fanboys are s***ing themselves right now Lmao I actually want the Royals to win. Have $1200 on the line if they win the World Series from making a $10 bet back in March haha. If the Royals end up winning the World Series, next time you're in Toronto beers on me!
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Have you heard about the Braves starter Smith Swahhahaha something blah blah blah.

hanton Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Michael King... Great story, not many go from a 1 inning reliever to a TORP
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Wow Michael King absolutely shoved
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Pretty good outcomes today, lets see which teams can take it to a game 3. Would like to see the Brewers advance

Would like to see the Brewers advance Would like to see the Brewers advance as well, but I have a feeling MLB wants the Mets to go through since they're a big market. Was reading online how during the regular season the Brewers control and make the decision to open/close the roof, however MLB during the Postseason makes the call. Yesterday afternoon was a beautiful day in Milwaukee and the roof was closed.

Some guy put 20$ on Sale leading the NL in strikeouts this season back in March or whatever, and was scratched for his last start. him not getting 4 strikeouts cost this guy over 20 grand.

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Oof... talk about a bad beat. Sure is. I just watched a video where people bet the over for Mahomes to have 19.5 yards rushing v. Atlanta. He was at 30 yards rushing when they got the ball back with like 50 seconds to go. He kept trying to hold the ball and kill time (ATL had time outs to use)...he ended up losing 12 yards, kneeling 3 times. And even worse was the last kneel down could have been a traditional one, but he decided to step back and lose the final few yards to screw those who took the over. Hilarious stuff
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Not starting Kikuchi game 2 is… a choice
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Not starting Kikuchi game 2 is… a choice Brown >> Kooch, and that's no slight at Kooch.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 That Detroit lineup is so gross. It's Green, Carpenter and a bunch of BUMS. The bottom 5 guys are all below (and in some cases WELL below) replacement level bats.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 What a pitch, so much filth, lol.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Hinch bouncing his former team with a box of scraps in their home park is kinda funny
Laika Community Moderator Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Not starting Kikuchi game 2 is… a choice Hunter Brown was extremely good after the first month or so I will be a bit sad if Kikuchi never gets to throw a playoff pitch this year
