Omar Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Hard to believe this is the last game the Jays will play in this ballpark. We've played some historic games here.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2024 Author Posted June 9, 2024 Bullpen is WELL rested JS
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Spence is doing it with smoke and mirrors...or we suck.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Dude gives up a lot of home runs for a sinker baller
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 We are lucky that the majority of the A's hitters fnnn suck!!
Delgalladay Verified Member Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 We are lucky that the majority of the A's hitters fnnn suck!! Enter Trevor Richards and we just lost 2 of 3 thanks to our even more pathetic offense
Masterbather Verified Member Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Playing the infield in when a base hit gives them the lead is troubling logic to me. Nonetheless, our offense is rubbish.
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Cleary Richards didn't have it today but they left him in to blow the lead

Heh, dumb bunt, it worked perfectly for the Jays except for horseshit bad luck that a the worst contact imaginable falls in. Just gotta laugh at that This is all on the offense...yet again
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Jays have one inning to tie or go ahead. Then it's Miller time and not talking Miller Lite.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 A's tagging up quite a bit in this series and now a nicely placed sac bunt
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 We need Davis Schneider heroics to win this game.
travisinfla Verified Member Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Bowden has looked horrible so far. I'd have the bullpen on standby already. I wasn't paying attention was the stuff bad, but the stats line of 4 IP, scored 0 runs, 3 hits, 1 walk is good. Why pull him so early,
Masterbather Verified Member Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Some baseball fundamentals. I like.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Varsho is fun to watch when he’s not striking out 50% of the time
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Really with Varsho's D and some really clutch hits/base running etc, this Team would be waaaay worse off without Varsho. He has been pretty key in a lot of games this year.

He has been pretty key in a lot of games this year. He reminds of Pillar, probably better than him, hustles, make things happen, smart. Just need some better and established RBI men on the team.

Jaysareus Verified Member Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Jays should trade for Oakland's reliever
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Yeah just imagine we had this version of Varsho last year… I really think we f***ed him up and he lost confidence. It took his Dad to get involved and get him back on track and gain that confidence back and let him play relaxed, which brings out his best.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Jays should trade for Oakland's reliever He is one of the most expensive acquisition cost RPs if not the, in baseball at the moment.
