Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Thought they would just call the game but luckily it started so early. Come on Jays... start corking your bats or taking roids... whatever will help lol.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 What is insane is that they rebounded back to 85 wins in 2010... IF they kept Halladay he adds 9 wins, presumably one or two against Rays/Yanks/Sox and Jays win 2010 AL East. f*** off eh This organization seems to have the worst luck. Sad Have any of our top prospects actually become consistently elite players? Seems like Bo is the only one, with Vlad being a close 2nd only propped up by 1 outlier season. I guess you could count Syndergaard
harvey16 Verified Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Wow! Thought this game was 100% gonna get called. Need to take advantage and win this game! Let's go!!

harvey16 Verified Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 That would be amazing It's back on??? Yep suppose to resume around 7pm. Looks like they'll have about a 1 hour windows to get this game in looking at the radar map.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Hopefully gets banged before 5 complete as Jays aren't scoring 3 runs today Probably 5 inning game, rained out, 2-0 loss This doesn't happen anymore fellas, all games get completed.
harvey16 Verified Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 This doesn't happen anymore fellas, all games get completed. Last game of the series, if they didn't resume today, game would be considered official and a Royals win. They only resume games the next day if it's not the final game of the series.

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Royals obviously stalling to try to secure the W
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Royals delaying things as much as possible to secure the win.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 They must be so pissed the game is resuming
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Just checked the schedule for the Royals and they gotta travel to Detroit to play the Tigers at 1PM tomorrow. That's kind BS for them tbh.

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Lol what a joke, they could have started playing an hour ago
M.E. Verified Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 MLB App just flipped it from Delayed to Final
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 So why the hell did they keep every around then if they were gonna decide to end the game anyways. So stupid
harvey16 Verified Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Wow, unreal! This is completely BS! Wonder if there is anyway the Jays can file a formal protest. This is super shady, Royals deliberately stalling should constitute a forfeit.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 MLB rain delays can be such a joke sometimes. Lol
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Game over, what a s***** series, Ughhh...
Masterbather Verified Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Smells like a whole lot of ********. But let's be honest, we had no chance to come back from a one run deficit.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 So why the hell did they keep every around then if they were gonna decide to end the game anyways. So stupid It took the grounds crew a while to plug the drains.

Now no way they can finish without screwing tomorrow’s schedule, so its final.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 It took the grounds crew a while to plug the drains. Shulman said on the broadcast that it takes the crew 30 minutes to do that. From the sounds of the tweets, looks like the Royals delayed the entire process in hopes of getting this exact outcome.
