G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Wow Thought is was about to be 9-3
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Tatis almost knocks that out and cashes in a run. Vladdy drills that into the ground at the Shortstop. Difference of a Superstar.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2024 Author Posted April 21, 2024 PTSD triggered with memories of Tyler Chatwood.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Somehow it feels like we should be down more than 3 runs Game not out of reach yet...
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 JS is truly amazing at finding ways to win the first two games of the series and then lose the last game.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 I hate Vlad. 3 fastballs down the middle that he did nothing with.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2024 Author Posted April 21, 2024 That's as middle middle as you can get...
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 What a colossal mistake by JS and this FO to send Pearson down in the Yankees series.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 That was a waste of a Sunday afternoon.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Watching that was not a pleasant experience
bluejaysinternNo5 Verified Member Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Vlad’s non tender date looms nearer
BaseballIsLife Verified Member Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Shouldn’t this org be smart enough to get Guerrero to drive balls in the air?
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Replacing Vlad with, like, Pete Alonso or something this offseason would be amazing. As things stand, I'm getting blackout drunk in celebration of the non-tender when it happens

bluejaysinternNo5 Verified Member Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Shouldn’t this org be smart enough to get Guerrero to drive balls in the air? We simply don’t have enough information to speculate on this. For all we know, Vlad’s doctor forbade him from lifting the ball. We cannot know for sure so it’s best we give the front office the benefit of the doubt on this one
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Pearson looks awful. On top of the wildness, his fastball is topping out at 96. Its the lack of consistency with his stuff that holds him back from being a dependable arm. Him at 96-96 just isn't good enough given his lack of command. When he's 98-99 he can just throw it down the middle and at least guys can't square him up as easily.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Pearson Fanboys owe a lot of apologies around here if you ask me…
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Pearson Fanboys owe a lot of apologies around here if you ask me… There's Pearson fanboys? lol
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 There's Pearson fanboys? lol Certainly not Pearson Airport lol.
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Blaming the Jays for Vlad's inability to "lift" the ball? lmao
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Sucks to miss out on a sweep again, but that's four straight series wins
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 There's Pearson fanboys? lol Oh yeah they were out in full force after he was demoted. They swore we would have swept the Yankees if he was still up
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 Oh yeah they were out in full force after he was demoted. They swore we would have swept the Yankees if he was still up [raises hand] Yeah I wanted him to face the meat of the order including Judge that inning. He'd been so good and Swanson was so rusty. Looks like the inconsistency and wildness isn't close to gone though
