We took game 1 against the Yanks and we've got Gausman going tomorrow.

 

Our pitching and defense approach (which wins championships) just stymied the Yankees for the first home opener shut out since 1967.

Is there ever a series against the Yankees where the calls favor the Jays? It's the same ******** story year after year.

 

I've ranted about this last year when the umpires gifted the Yankees +15 runs over the course of last season per umpscorecards.com (That would take 15 games for our current offence to reproduce!) vs. - 3 runs for the Jays. That's a goddamn 18 run differential that easily could result in +4 WAR (or a wet dream Varsho season).

 

So far this season the Yankees are already at +2 runs vs. -2 for the Jays. At this rate, we may start putting up negative runs scored! If I played guitar, I'd be smashing it right now.
