He has publicly stated he'd move off position to get a deal done, so it's possible.

 

Definitely would be a sick infield defensively with Chapman, Adames and Bregman.

23M was deferred too. So its actually less than a 66M NPV.

I strongly suspect that Teo just wanted to stay there as long as the deal was adequate. And I can't blame him. Sure sucks for us Jays fans though.

Same as last year probably. Spread $40M or whatever across four positions, just try to do it better than last time.

 

It's going to suck and it's not going to work.

He tried that last year and failed... it isn't going to work magically this year lol.

 

We can win another Team Gold Glove and still suck while being completely unwatchable.

At this point I just kind of hope they stick to one year deals, flop immediately, and then at least deal Bo and Vlad at the deadline
