One, I traded Rendon to C-poop for Adames, Baty and a 1st round pick, back in the offseason of 21/22, haha

Good call, anywhere but the Mets. Aren't you holding the #1 waiver in LOD for Sasaki? lol... congrats. This kid's supposed to be better than all of his Japanese counterparts as a pitcher.

This kid's like Ohtani in reference to money, when he came over. He could stay and make more in Japan for 2 years and then get better than Yamamoto money when he turned 25. Instead now he gets a signing bonus and a 6 year service time window. He's a prize for any team he ends up with.

For sure. This way, he gets to basically pick who he plays for for the next 7 seasons, then hit FA at 30 and, assuming health, makes a boatload more.

 

What's interesting is that his Japanese team agreed to post him, knowing they're losing out on a boatload of cash.
