All he did was DM Gibby a link to the board. Johnny ran with it from there.

One of my friends got a Cameo from his favorite singer a few years ago... His wife paid for it and he had no idea what these sites are so he thought the singer knew him and said all these personal things. What an idiot.

I tried to hire mr gibbons to do a video but he rejected it. The script wasn’t too racy, but he would be going back on some of the claims he made in that last video. He’s obviously a man of principal and loves Toronto.

I've never heard of Cameo before this particularly instance so guilty as charged. It was obvious that Gibby was reading off of a script but I wasn't aware of the existence of paying celebrities to read scripts out loud on camera.

He read off scripts for 30s+.. rest was him. Talking about missing you guys up there blah blah.. tell your front office to get one players, and the 2nd round of calling out Spanky, Jim, and Laila was all him. He was also the one that said what the heck kind of name is Spanky..

 

So it really was a message to the board as a bonus

As Connor said, I don’t think most of it was a script. Usually you give them pointers (names, a topic, a general message) and they riff the rest.

 

I think 90% of that vid was just Gibby
