Blue Jays To Reportedly Sign Shohei Ohtani

The Blue Jays are set to sign two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani, per a report from J.P. Hoornstra of Dodgers Nation. Nothing is official but Hoornstra reports a formal announcement is expected as soon as tonight. Ben Nicholson-Smith and Shi Davidi of Sportsnet and Alden Gonzalez of ESPN push back by saying that a decision has not been made.

 

I saw this and my blood circulation instantly shifted from my extremities to my pants.

 

But I do not believe it yet. Until I see the press conference, with Ohtani in a Jays hat and jersey it's not real.
