Hey if you want to take the leap and imply I said he isn’t good, go ahead, dickweed. Have at it. Next Bud Light on me.

In other news, Honestly I was looking at betting the 49ers.

You drunk?

Only on vacations I’ll drink. Never at home. And I learned my lesson my last time drinking in Poland and I’ll never over drink again. I’m going to Colombia for 4 days next week.

Pablo schooled the Jays, and is now shoving against the 'Stros. Their MVP so far.

Luckily for the Twins, Lopez can pitch more than 3 innings because they don't have John Schneider as their manager.

What a game by Correa. We have a series. I thought Minnie would be swept. Great pitching and htting a bomb, what a combination.

Yordan Alvarez....may as well start calling him Mr. October.

Yordan Alvarez is an absolute monster. Him and Seager are both such good hitters.

Correa shoved back in Houston. Big time player. The broadcast said 3rd all time in postseason RBI

Vintage ex Astro Correa out there. The hose on that throw to end the game vs Pena GB, and his bat is raking.

Still can't believe Bo ran on that arm in GM 1. I know he made a great play, but it is Correa.

Yordan Alvarez - “I put myself to go hard down the middle. That’s my mentality always. That’s my approach hit the ball hard up the middle.

Our resident hitting coach experts on the Board will be puzzled by this. The Alvarez spray chart link is telling approach vs results.

This is a funny thing in all sports

Sometimes the queue isn't actually what the optimal players end up doing even if they think it is

Went to Game 1 in Atlanta on Saturday night! Atmosphere was electric before and during the game. Sucks the Braves lineup played like the Jays haha. Really cool seeing Spencer Strider pitch. One of my favourite pitchers in the game. Went 7 strong innings against that Phillies lineup. Wish he came out for the 8th haha. I'll see if I could upload some pictures after.

Truist Park is a great ballpark. Feels small and intimate, so no matter where you sit you're close to the action. Awesome food and drink concessions all around. A lot of interactive activities and games for kids as well. The Braves Hall of Fame in the 100 level concourse behind the home plate area is a really nice touch. Wish we had something like that at the Rogers Centre. A lot of great standing room areas and rooftop bars in the ballpark as well.

The Battery area is really built up with awesome bars, restaurants and shops. Definitely a cool area to hang out before or after the game. Fun atmosphere. Would be cool to stay at the Omni Hotel there next time during a series.

Most of his HR are Right Center and left. Going up the middle/driving the ball is a basic philosophy taught in little league. There will usually be a tendency to hit balls to the pull side, even if it’s not the distinct objective.

Get out of your mom’s basement. Her attic in probably full too with all your nerdy case files and participation trophies

The funny thing about these personal attacks is that I basically have the life you wish you did. Complete, fully functional family with a loving wife.

They’re not my go-to. It’s just the recent thing to do.

Anyways, it’s really not true. I want it until I have it.

I don't accept Atkins has no culpability for this year because 2 overweight guys and an aging Springer under performed projections.

He chose not to add lumber at the deadline. This was a key window year for us and who knows who was really available behind the scenes, maybe at a premium. We'll never know. Who actually moved is not conclusive on who could have moved.

Watched Pham get 4 hits last night. Pieces. In 2021 ATL added Soler who had 48 HRs and a 136 wRC+ in '19 and Pederson who is a 130 career wRC+ bat vs RHP. Rosario. Good pieces with experience/track record that were not that expensive who got hot/lucky at the right times. But you don't win without making those moves.

The other examples you mention are indicative of just about every post season. Steve Pearce stands out.

The Springer contract could end up being a disaster moving forward. He's 34 years old coming off a 104 wRC+ season. Still owed $75M over the next three seasons. Jays really need him to bounce back next season or else that's a good chunk of payroll locked up over the next three seasons to an aging declining player. Probably his contract is immovable unless you take on another contract.

There is nothing wrong in suggesting that Atkins could have added some lumber at the deadline or earlier when they realized the lineup was an issue. Didn't have to be anyone flashy but a solid player with experience and track record who could have got hot for you at the right time. Like you said, who actually moved is not conclusive on who could have moved. I'm sure other bats were available.

It's a real shame that the Blue Jays were unable to take advantage of having such a strong pitching staff this season. Every season is different so we can't expect the pitching staff to have the exact same success in 2024 or 2025. The Jays have to take advantage of these windows. It's only going to get more difficult moving forward.

Connorp doesn't necessarily rub me the wrong way as much as he does everyone else but one funny thing I notice about him is that he often brags about all the tail he gets from around the world when the most obvious explanation for it is that he's a classic middle-aged sex tourist lol

This board serves that purpose, mate. Thank you.

When he says therapy, he means electro-shock.

Don’t get any tail. I was chasing Muslim girls and getting to make out is super hard. I had a bad experience in Poland recently where I couldn’t get what I flew there for, it turned into an argument about never asking her how her day was, how she’s feeling, etc. I’m like what the f*** did I just fly here for and I’ve given up.

I will now be switching to Latina women

If you're thinking switching to Latina women will make things less weird and more simple....I await your first report.

All this discourse I’m seeing around the internet about top seeded teams not having a big enough advantage is getting a bit ridiculous.
