Masterbather Verified Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Do we have the horses today to survive this Rays onslaught?
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Jordan romano better not be available. He's garbage
Casual Fan Verified Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Jordan romano better not be available. He's garbage he really is garbage
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Richards is going to blow this isn't he
Casual Fan Verified Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Kichuchi should've pitched 1 more inning, or at least faced the first batter
Masterbather Verified Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Kichuchi should've pitched 1 more inning, or at least faced the first batter They were hitting him hard
travisinfla Verified Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Richards has a 16.20 ERA in September, but no ER last 2 outings, and hopefully 3rd
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 They were hitting him hard Ya I'm usually complaining about quick hooks for our starters but Kikuchi was horrible out there.
travisinfla Verified Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Rays announcers are bashing the mound visit coming in middle of count.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Yeah the hook on Kikuchi was 100% fine, he wasn’t fooling anyone.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Richards had a really bad strech coming off the IL. But people quickly forgot how good he was for the first several months of the Season.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Vladdyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy home run
Masterbather Verified Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Hey Vladdy ran into one!
travisinfla Verified Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 line drive homerun to. center wow
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Richards had a really bad strech coming off the IL. But people quickly forgot how good he was for the first several months of the Season. There's a reason why season averages are always good indicator of a player. A player usually isn't as bad as their lowest point and as good as their highest point.
travisinfla Verified Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 rays are saying with Richard you should wait for changeup, but it's good you still can't hit even if you know it's coming
Casual Fan Verified Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 watching him, he seems to struggle a lot. But if you check his stats he doesn't allow many baserunners, I guess they come in groups for him. But those stats may be very misleading
travisinfla Verified Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Romano has done that all season, but doesnt bleed into next outing, hell then pitch 2 innings of shutout but im not sure he's a lock for 9th in playoffs, could be hicks.
travisinfla Verified Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 it's not close to over, but ive never seen the jays play this well and rays so poorly over a series at the trop.
travisinfla Verified Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Lowe is a pain in ass
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Holy f*** Richards made Lowe swing like I would if I were up there lol
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Richards accomplished an impressive feat and something that hasn't been done often by a Blue Jay reliever. 100 strikeout season out of the Bullpen. Very impressive accomplishment.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 Yeah the hook on Kikuchi was 100% fine, he wasn’t fooling anyone. He did strike out 7. The weird thing is a lot of the Rays’ hits were on fastballs way outside the zone. Almost as if they were just waiting on Kikuchi to lose his release point and miss up and away, which he does pretty often throughout his starts. Kind of a fascinating strategy, don’t think many teams are just waiting for a pitcher to miss but not in the middle of the zone.
travisinfla Verified Member Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 biggio, my god, I used to hate on the guy, im glad he turned it around and when the jays really needed it
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2023 Author Posted September 24, 2023 Another nice play by Biggio. The Silver Fox eats two big innings. Let's Go Jays!
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
