LOL I know. Just watch though - I doubt he's going anywhere because he's under team control

I thought u were serious lol, yeah he's ok utility that's it

Sure, it’s a factor, it’s just not THE factor that people think it is. Pitcher delivery times vary far more than catcher pop times do.

So the way I look at it is a pitcher can be quicker to home simply by slightly changing his delivery, catchers cannot improve pop times - rare.

Time for the Captain to shine

He is not the Captain. Davis Schneider is the Captain now

Guy literally picks it up but they call it back? Dumb

It’s because of the possibility of a bounce off the wall and the guy from 1st being thrown out eliminated. It’s a weak rule

Let's shut this one down. Didn't think we'd need extras against the A's but oh well...

edit: welp.

So normally the outfielder needs to put his arm up to signal the ball is stuck.....did he do that? I didn't see

That was the rule when I played little league lol. He played the ball should be in play.

And the ajays seem to have a lot of pitchers that take way longer to get to the plate, so let’s put the blame where it belongs, on the pitchers.

The fact that nearly all catchers have pop times within 9 hundredths of a second is all the info someone should need to understand the catcher is not the problem.

I like Kirk but the amount of soft pop-ups is concerning

Imagine him and Moreno having the same number of HRs and he's supposed to have the "noodle bat"

Dumb because that call rarely gets overturned unless the fielder actually has trouble removing the ball
