I’m not saying this is what’s happening in this particular game, but shouldn’t starting pitchers success be treated a lot like hockey goalies? Sometimes you just run into a goalie who has a incredible game even if he’s having a less than spectacular season, and I feel like pitching can be considered the same.

 

you can pull up last 5 games of every bad starter we face for these s*** teams and you usually find at least 1 dominating game.
