Slowly losing interest in this years team. The players look disinterested, Vladdy looks cooked. No depth at all. All I keep hearing about is the underlying numbers show were better and a second half surge is coming, but ill believe it when I see it. Right now it looks like a second half flop is on the horizon. 3 out of the Astros, Rangers, Angels, Yankees, Jays, O's are going to miss the playoffs. Pretty sure the Jays will be one.

This team looks like they are all half dead. The last time I can remember the Jays being like this was the year Jimmy Williams got fired.

 

Not saying that firing Schneider will have any results, but maybe they could go out again and get Dante Bichette. When he was with the Jays , they were all hitting well and always looking to him for help or advice. He only left the Jays because of the strike. This team is quickly running out of time and they need to do something.

Just looked and we are burning through pitchers. Yimi and Cimber pitched the past two days in a row. Mayza threw yesterday. Mitch White threw 31 pitches yesterday. Richards is basically a starting pitcher now and is unavailable.

 

Presumably they want to save Romano and Swanson for tomorrow.

 

So Nate throws today and it looks like Mitch White will too.
