I think the way it works is whatever a team pays him, the Dodgers don’t have to pay him. So there is no reason for anyone to offer him more than the minimum. It’s not extra money for him.

Wouldn't touch Bauer with a 10 ft pole. Even before this whole controversy of the alleged assault, the guy was never liked by his past teammates and has a few loose screws upstairs. The guy would be a locker room cancer, not something we need. This guy is a ticking time bomb.
