Well known they need to attach their name to every big FA or trade target. They make a call checking in like very other team, then leak it.

Also benefits us to have our name mentioned because if we don't get him then the other team has to pay more, leaving less money for other players.

I could see us signing Hoskins to a 1 year deal to play DH/1B. Didn’t get a QO, and might want a 1 year deal to increase his value and test the market again next year.

I would guess Little will be DFA and tried to get through waivers before too much longer. Kind of a typical minors relief arm, probably has nasty stuff with little ability to command it.

I’m guessing 10/400 is the baseline. If I’m in the industry, I’m not buying Toronto is going to make me beat my offer. He’s going to lose some level of marketability even going there.

Ohtani out WAR'ed Judge with his DH numbers only. I could swear I heard that Ohtani could also pitch too and wasn't only a DH most of the time...

Well obviously is the overall better player but I'm also considering Ohtani is going to get paid 10/550. Hard to commit that much to 1 guy. I'd rather hedge on 2 guys instead but that's just me.

I'm definitely for it.

 

This lineup needs a bat who could knock out 30+ HR's.

If Ohtani ends up not being able to pitch long term his eventual contract isn't going to look nearly as good, but he'd likely still be a plus outfielder based on the physical tools he offers in elite speed and cannon arm.

Soler didn’t get qualified seems like a pretty obvious target to add power to the Lineup. Would be hesitant to go anymore than 3 years for him. The team that does probably gets him.
