Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 Cannot wait to watch Babe Schneider in person at Coors Field this weekend. I debated on whether I should sit in left field so I'd have a shot at one of the dingers he's going to hit or if I should sit behind the visitor's dugout. I chose behind so I could give John Schneider (no relation to Babe) a piece of my mind during the games.

That’s the #1 place I want to go see the Jays. Maybe in 2025
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 Is Coors Field a top 5 park? I’ve only been to a few but…going by experience and then reputation… San Fran, Pittsburgh, San Diego, Colorado, Seattle and Minnesota would be my top picks.
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 Is Coors Field a top 5 park? Top 5: Oakland - Ring Central Coliseum White Sox - Guaranteed Rate Field Rays - Tropicana Field Rangers - Globe Life Field Tigers - Comerica Park

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 Is Coors Field a top 5 park? Coors Field was one of my favourite ballparks I've been to. It's definitely in my Top 3. Still has a nice blend of modern/historic feel to it (built in 1995 I believe). The mountains and skies are amazing as well. Great place to watch a ball game.

bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 Coming down to Toronto for the 4th game of the Texas series and one of the Redsox games, excited that there’s a chance it could be a huge game.

The Texas games will be huge. Anything less than a split, the season is almost certainly over. Really need a solid 3-1 in that series though to have a decent shot at the postseason
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2023 Author Posted September 1, 2023 Make sure to remind him that Kirk has the 8th slowest sprint speed in all of MLB Not only is it shocking that he's not the slowest, but the fact that there are 7 people slower is amazing.

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Schneider just said that Jansen has a minor fracture in his right middle finger. Get ready for some Heineman. s*** luck.

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Use Varsho. He hits like a backup catcher anyways Yeah this is the time when Varsho being the backup C would be extremely useful. Not sure why the front office refuses to play him there

Not sure why the front office refuses to play him there If they traded Moreno for him, they obviously see him as a franchise type talent. Probably want to protect his body

Probably want to protect his body Varsho is a bulldog. Im still shocked he didn’t destroy his knee on that streal attempt last week, looked like he was done for. But nah, totally fine. Dude is built different
