Rays offense will cool off. But because of their pitching they probably won’t falter much in the Standings. Jays ability to pass them and the Yankees standings will likely be from how well they play against them this Season. These division games are more important than ever.

Oh you mean you don't think they'll have the greatest offensive season in baseball history?

You know what. Just for that. They are winning 120 games this year and will have the best offense in the history of Baseball. Jays may as well pack it in now.

Anyone who has an apple device is not a true fan of the Blue Jays.

I don't. I'm 100% PC and Android. But I have Apple TV on my LG TV :)

However, it's still totally s***** that it's the only way to watch a Friday night game first @ Yankee stadium this season

They probably have a free 6 month subscription they donÂ’t even know about

I opened up the MLB app and a 2 month free offer appeared, debating getting it, as I'll probably forget to cancel it.

We are all very poor even us in the middle class and based on what I read in one of the other threads we can only afford to sit in the 500 level row 20, except for the lucky posters who are very wealthy and sit in 100 level row 7 behind the dugout.

As one of the middle class posters I have a decision to make. I often subscribe to these streaming services to watch one thing or another then forget to cancel and all of a sudden 80 bucks a month is missing.

Over the whole year that would be like a 2-4 games, depending on family size with the rich people down low.

So big decision to make. Do I go for short term and watch tonight's game? Or long term to save up for nice seats? Especially next year when half the lower bowl is a VIP club and seats might be twice as much down there.

Is the MLB aware nobody has apple tv?? lol. Also Merrifield is heating up, almost batting .300, running the bases well. Starting to seize that 2nd base position. So lets take him out and start Biggio against the Yanks. Good call. Love that. Makes so much sense.

I agree that Merrifield should be our everyday starting 2b or rotating in the OF. However, with the short porch in left, they probably want as many LHB as possible..

It's probably just the Jays trying to capitalize on the Yanks having 0 LHP available for the game tonight since Peralta has pitched the last 2 games. I'm mildly shocked Lukes isn't in there somehow.

The AL East is going to be ridiculous. the whole D is over .500. Every W now matters as any other point in the season.

We are going to need those Wins like last night - where a Belt and Kikuchi beat the Yanks in their Park - something most didn't expect.

Today would be awesome to see Manoah bounce back and beat Cole.

Agree 100% with everything you said.

I don't want to hear guys like Mike Wilner after a loss or blowing a game using the excuse, "it's still early." We saw in the AL East that doesn't apply and even more this season. Every game this month is as important as a game in September.

"Early" just means praying for a rare run late like 2015. Thats a fools game. 2021 should put an exclamation point on that reality. Every W matters regardless of where it is in the season.

Yimi Garcia needs to go on the IL for anxiety or something. Use the new mental health loopholes to our advantage.

I don't know how projections have biggio doing 103 wRC+.... He's not even a good bench warmer and hasn't even broke 100 since 2020.

Bc AI isn’t quite there yet. They have his Bb% improving from the last 2 years, as his hitting has deteriorated and they’re unable to apply the logic that if anything, the bb% will go down

It's just a model

The projections don't benefit from "watching" him play and seeing how pathetic he has looked for an extended period of time

He still projects will because he used to be a fantastic player in several ways

I thought the projections were infallible. Computers don’t make mistakes
