22 weeks pregnant is "barely showing" for some women, lol

I've seen some chicks run 10ks at like 33 weeks

Some woman look like they ate Marcus Stroman at 22 weeks... Regardless, still uncomfortable to try and bend down on a Regional Jet and clean the floor between economy seats....

Some people stay in hotels and clean up after themselves. Other people say why would I clean up they have staff for that. Gotta ask yourself which one are you.

His wife shouldve shut down the popcorn once she saw their kid making that much mess. Its insane to me to sit there and watch your kid make that mess and do nothing.

Why not? The flight staff will take care of it.

Maybe she did. Maybe the kid chucked the whole bag or a bunch of it before she could stop it... The Matrix is just a movie and with two small kids on an airplane is a near impossible to handle.

My wife and I had a hell of a time getting our two year old in his seatbelt for take off coming and going from Mexico the other week.

I always tidy up, lol. Seriously, can we move on, now.

Bit of a shame some people throwing shade on Kirk game calling with Manoah struggling.

Last year he caught Alek when he was pitching better, and we heard none of this.

Just noise, mate. A terrible take.

I think its from a place of frustration. The Starting Pitching has been very bad. If it was just average the Jays are probably 10 games over .500 right now. Instead they are 10-7. Just a lot of already non competitive games.

Feels like the starting rotation could have used an extra couple weeks of Spring Training games to get their s*** in order.

I think most will get themselves sorted out soon.

Hoping Gausman was a fluke bad inning.

That much popcorn could be on the floor in under 2 seconds with a two year old. And united gave them the popcorn.

Gausman looked fine for the rest of the game, not worried really. Hoping Bassit has another strong outing

Even after that god awful inning, his underlying #'s are still fine. Just had a s***** inning where every little thing got hammered.

To the point I was listening for trash cans being banged

Gausman will be fine… is it to early to worry about everyone else?

I feel Bassit, Berriors, and Kikuchi all showed signs of encouragement in their last outings. Tonight’s a big test for Bassit though.

Not too early. The measurements that help in small sample sizes are very concerning for a couple guys.

Stuff+ 2022 ; 2023

Manoah 99 ; 94

Bassitt 98 ; 87

So for Manoah and Bassitt they are getting bad results, they look bad, and the fancy stats say their stuff is down significantly. Disgusting.

The other three:

Gausman 109 ; 117

Berrios 100 ; 99

Kikuchi 107 ; 107

Kikuchi is of course encouraging so far but it's reasonable to expect him to explode at some point, just based on his track record.

There is zero reason to worry about Guasman.

Berrios... has a good K/BB and FIP so far, but a poor ERA. He simply remains an enigma. The pitching models don't see him as any different than last year, all things considered.

You called?

hahah that was a funny, dan and buck were both talking about his power issues lately and he goes deep mid sentence.

I'm serious though. Bassit didn't look good in ST and took a few turns to straighten out. Same with Berrios. And Manoah has something weird going on that some work can hopefully fix. I guess we'll just say slow starts for them and see what happens.

Baseball is a game of confidence. The good news is we're 11-7. If we were 6-12 the pitches would be really gripping the ball tightly. There's been a bit of bad luck thrown in too for the guys. Of all the guys Manoah is probably the one I'm the most worried about, just because the expectations for him were quite high. Hopefully his next start he can limit the walks.

Yeah considering the Jays are 11-7 with how awful the rotation has looked in the early going, not that bad.

Gausman is fine. Bassitt looks like he can be reliable now every 5th day. Lets hope Berrios can start being more consistent. If Kikuchi continues to do what he does, I'm more than fine with that. Manoah needs to figure things out though.

Still, the rotation is on thin ice now especially with the way Manoah has looked. Jays lack another elite front of the rotation starter to pair with Gausman. If any starter goes on the IL, especially Gausman for an extended period of time, could get ugly.

Manoah was always a worry for me - Thought it was silly he started the season and home opener over Gausman.

Over rated. Over hyped. Over weight. The Twitter wars he gets into. Average V. Whiff and K issues. Command issues. Needs a + 3rd pitch to succeed long term near '22 levels.

He is much better than his starts this season, but I don't think he is a #1 on a championship caliber team. Might not even be a legit #2.

I'm not even sure he has the stuff of a consistent #3 SP. His Stuff / Location numbers so far this year make him look more like.... Brad Keller or something.

The armchair psychologist in me sees a guy who is not handling pressure well (likely gets himself too amped up, IMO). Choked in the playoffs, choked on opening day, and now pushing way too hard trying to recover something.

Of course, I accept the possibility that I'm completely off base here.
