That'll be interesting for relievers who are struggling.

wonder what the sitelines will be for those fans there if they can see most of the outfield close to the fence....especially with the higher fence now also.

Actually you're right. It probably means so much to a kid to even get a high five from a player, it does have a big impact on them. Rios is a dick for sure.

Although im always going to be against heckling athletes when out and about.

It’s really not true/fair. We’re all just looking at it as normal people. You can’t be expected to be feeling the fan thing every day of your life. I can totally see how someone could find it annoying and just tune it out.

When you go to the stadium, how many players just ignore the kids screaming for autographs.

Posted
That's true - nobody is entitled to an autograph. But f*** me - take a second to think about this. Young kids dream of becoming major league ball players when they grow up. That's what drives little league baseball and it's one of the few magical things in this world. Whether it's right or wrong, kids naturally look up to professional athletes as they dream of being in their shoes one day. When they get the rare chance to meet a real major league ball player - maybe one of the players from their favourite team - maybe their favourite player - it's a big f***ing deal.

For Rios to simply ignore him like he didn't exist is f***ing heartless. He didn't even look down to acknowledge there was a 10 year old there. So yes - the kid isn't entitled to an autograph and I guess you could say Rios isn't required to be a decent human being in that situation - but if you take that stance, then Rios isn't entitled to his own privacy, nor should he be shielded from someone chirping him for being a **** - and a s***** baseball player (he was 0-5 with 5 K's that day I understand). If he's out in public, then I guess I'm entitled to say whatever the f*** I want to him - especially if he's being a **** to a 10 year old.

If Rios is a decent human being in this situation, even without signing an autograph, then he doesn't get chirped.

Good day.

Let it go, Elsa.

The #BlueJays released more details/updates for the ongoing stadium renovation today.

There will be 4 new social spaces, called "outfield neighbourhoods" free to all fans. Also new food options, including banh mi sandwiches, Jamaican beef patties, BBQ brisket nachos etc.

I think upping the food game is massive.

If they have some Banh Mi boys at the RC I'm going to be gaining some serious weight.

How is the TD clubhouse seating ?? Never been
Awesome. I've only been to about ten games at the dome so my overall experience is limited but if you have the money to shell out it's def worth it. We were five rows up in the section off third base our previous trip up and while those seats were awesome for being close to the game the TD Clubhouse was way better to enjoy the game.

The series v. Seattle, then Atlanta and then I looked at July 1st, which I know is Canada day (although it said 3% of tickets remaining for it, and just 2% for Seattle and Atlanta). Maybe it's user error as I'm doing about 12 things at once today.

A lot of seats available for the Seattle and Braves series still.

Canada Day and games that weekend usually always sell out quickly, right after the Home Opener. Still a lot of seats available, just checked.

Jeez - I hope we're allowed to sit down sometimes. My back gets sore if I stand too long. They look a little tight to the railing too. I'm a tall guy - I need more space.

Yeah I've always been super underwhelmed with the food options. It seems like a such an opportunity to add revenue. I'd definitely buy more food if the options weren't a burn foot long hot dog and some cold chicken fingers and soggy fries.

In this day and age of craft beers and global cuisine they've been WAY behind

Rogers Centre has a better beer selection than Scotia Arena at least haha.

They had some decent food stalls on the 100 level like near the RF foul pole (Muddy Yorks I believe) and near the bar behind the home plate area where they served brisket sandwiches. But yeah very underwhelming for a ballpark.

Some ballparks in the US like Petco or Minute Maid just blow Rogers Centre away when it comes to food and beer haha.

Dude the new one's are on the left? That's a big difference.

Home Opener looks sold out. Only single seats available.

A lot of tickets for the second game of the season haha.

Always better going to game 2. All the drunks/fake fans/social media douchebags go to the opener to show everyone they’re “cool”.

(Hard to tell how the new seats compare to the old in size, the camera lens likely playing tricks with the old seats being closer to the lens)

Left/darker blue is new. I like the look but wish they would have gone with wider seats. Ah well

They say they are bigger. Really they just need to add like one inch

Petco is legit. I remember they had a whole bbq pit area doing brisket and ribs. And the beer selection was nice. Also got some cool customized ice cream sandwiches.

RC had better food selections before covid for sure, last year was kinda crap. My dad got those burger lattice fries with mac sauce and they were decent but for some reason as the year went on they disappeared and the food selection got worse by September/October.

Cleveland had some great food when we wnet there in like 2017, so here’s hoping Shapiro can improve the stuff here soon. Aramark needs to go

Rogers centre has terrible chicken tenders, which tells you everything you need to know. How do you f*** chicken tenders??

Aramark.
