I don't think anyone is freaking out. Weak teams or not this is the Majors. Any team can beat any other team on any given night. Winning every game so far, and doing it with such gusto is a very impressive feat.

 

Yeah definitely an impressive feat. To start the season 10-0 and from the looks of it 11-0 isn't easy by any means. Sometimes the awful teams like the A's or Nats can give teams trouble.

 

Even if the Jays had the same schedule and went 8-2, I would be very impressed.

He’s been a mess since the trade. He’s doing what dumb Reds complained that Votto did: going up looking for a walk. It’s hard to watch.

 

I guess it kinda makes sense since near the end of his tenure with Washington he was basically the only above average hitter in the lineup.

 

But now that he’s with SD you think he’d go back to his former self. Maybe he’s playing through injuries or something. Maybe a slow start again.

 

All I know is if I were a Padres fan i’d be pretty frustrated with him right now.
