Fair enough. I get it would be frustrating. I'd be annoyed with those posts myself. And I probably posted similar messages about my team (not to that level), just because I was proud of the team I built. I was happy about it, not trying to showboat. But from what I remember (and not calling out anyone in particular), but he was bullied pretty hard over it. Although maybe I misremember it.

And again, not calling out anyone in any way. But I personally think TL provided way more valuable info and didn't do enough to warrant a ban. But that's just me.

Well posting your team isn't that bad if you are dogfighting it out in a competitive league and people have helped you along the way. But if one's goal is to collect every future Hall of Famer by trade raping a league full of noobs and then boasting about it that's not very interesting.

My only issue with you was ghosting the league.

I was clear with BTS from the start with that league and how I might approach it. I made lineup changes when I could and made claims when I could but I was overwhelmed and out of my depth because it was a team I didn't build, had no chance of contending in the near future, and everyone else in the league was an experienced fantasy veteran which made it intimidating to look into making trades. I had never been in a categories league before and the way categories work for fantasy, it's not conducive to me and the way I process information.

The reason I was excited about the league I joined after was because I was with other fantasy noobs like myself, it was a group of people that I get along with well and who've never not treated me with respect, and because it was a simple points league that was a lot easier for me to parse as someone new to fantasy.

I told BTS on several occasions that I didn't mind stepping out of that forum league if there was a more engaged owner interested in taking the spot.

Also lol, I forgot Terminator existed until I logged out of my banned account today and this guy is still writing passionate love letters about comments I made like 10 months ago.

Hate to break your heart, Term, but not only am I taken, my wife might actually get jealous if she found out how much you care about me. Good luck continuing your search somewhere else for that validation you so deeply desire.

Thanks, I actually have been waiting for this info for the payroll tracker, lmao.

How do the signing bonuses get taken into account for luxury tax purposes?

The only number that matters as far as the luxury tax goes is the AAV. So even if they gave him $50M in signing bonuses, paid him $6M in year one, $4M in year two and $3M in year three, the contract would still count as a flat $21M per year for luxury tax purposes.

It's trippy. Yet a lot of fans think Rogers is perpetually cheap. It is simply not the case.

They’re obviously cheap because they let Stripling go for peanuts. And traded Teo.

f*** cheap-ass Rogers

So in other words, the owners on this board are a lot smarter than the guys in your other league and you decided to focus on the easy competition.

You will be missed. This place is too often like a schoolyard.

Lol exactly and that explains why he likes the Blue Jays subreddit so much. Over there he can talk about how good Greg Bird is or how Nick Frasso is going to the Hall of Fame and they’ll all clap like seals.

But when he says that dumb s*** on the BJMB he’ll be staring down the barrel of The Sheriff’s six shooter. Crap like that just doesn’t fly around these parts.

So, most of the "new" accounts that get banned quickly are actually former users who are evading bans. Once in a while we get a new poster who comes in and swings his dick around because he's used to the Sportsnet.ca comment section where his belief that batting average and PRODUCHUN are things that matter is taken seriously.

It's also important to note that we do not consider this forum to be "family friendly", and while that doesn't apply to actual malice (Anyone using a hard R will absolutely be banned, for example, even an OG), it does mean that we're not expecting users to moderate their language. We're not a church or a pre-school, and that's uncomfortable for some people.

While I cannot speak for any of the other mods, this is absolutely not the sort of post that is remotely problematic to me, and I wouldn't even consider banning you over it. Hell, if I was going to ban you for anything it would be for dragging fantasy baseball talk out of the "off topic" forum! ;)

This is exactly how I see it Deadpool. Perhaps others don't see or understand this?

I wonder how the pitch clock is going to go for Bassitt. Took the guy forever because he's got 10 pitches.

Power corrupts....

The problem is Laila is basically Elon Musk…supposed to be the mature one, but often times guilty of posting childish and offensive content that stirs up trouble

who said I was the mature one?

I am legitimately a piece of s***. I need therapy.
