Tossing a name out there for a depth starter... Syndergaard?

Bring him home

Dun dun DUNNNNN (its probably just rest - no moreno or groshans :P)

Horwitz more time in LF tho - maybe, if not traded, comes in next year to replace Tapia or Zimmer? I think he has to make 40-man this year or rule-5 draft.

Please don't be just rest days... I want some excitement.

Who do we risk losing in the Rule 5 this offseason? That should give us a good idea of who’s available.

Step 1: Trade the entire farm system for Juan Soto.

Step 2: Extend Soto for 500M.

Step 3: Extend Vlad for 400M

Step 4: Sign Turner for 300M.

Step 5: Extend Bichette for 200M and move him to 2B.

Step 6: ...Profit?

Money, assets for bigger trades, restock the farm a little bit, etc

Yeah, no. They'd have to be lined up for that too happen, highly unlikely, they need depth.

Horwitz, Morris, Groshans, Taylor, O. Martinez, G. Martinez, Hiraldo, Barger, Zulueta, Kloffenstein, Hernandez of note, many more also.

I wouldn't give Vlad or Bo half of those contracts. On what planet is Vlad worth $400m? I could see a little bit more arguement for Bo because he plays a premium position. Well currently he does. But I don't think either are deserving of those mammoth franchise changing deals. Hard pass.

Kikuchi is fixed. Sole focus should be on acquiring relievers. This will be easy.

I think they need another Starter regardless. Stripling rarely goes deep into games. We never know what we’re going to get from Berriors, and Gausman has been extremely shaky lately. Only Manoah has been consistent all year.

Would you trade Moreno, Tiedemann, Groshans and Martinez for Ohtani?

Yes.

Angel’s don’t do that.. So no point

Exactly I doubt many teams look at Groshans as much of a prospect anymore. Moreno’s value definitely took a hit with his lack of power.

If the Angels are truly looking for "your top 4 prospects," then they'd definitely accept that offer. The Jays top 4 is better than the wide majority of farm systems. It's not like the Orioles are going to come knocking with Gunnar and Grayson for 1.5 years of Ohtani.

Time to trade for Ian Happ

I would be so down. He hasn’t done it recently but match he could play some Second Base for us as well if the full Outfield actually healthy.

Many teams could beat that. Not enough value and not enough pitching IMO. I also heard this afternoon they are looking for 5 vice 4. It is not our top 4 prospects in a vacuum, we have to beat out other Team’s prospects.

Nah man not many teams are topping Moreno and Tiedemann.

I mean not many teams COULD even top it.

Even the ones that could, wouldn't. Toronto isn't even doing that.

Moreno is elite. BA just ranked him #1 in the sport. He alone is worth the top 2 to 4 prospects of some other orgs.
