Well I mean he doesn't look as good as he did earlier, but he's given up like 1 bad hit to Rutchsman there? Some bloops and 2 missed double plays

He needs to mix up FBs down in the zone and CH/SP up in the zone.

 

It's very obvious that teams are sitting FB when it's up and letting everything go that's low.

The issue isn't really losing this game - its Gausman. If he can't figure it out, we only have one bonafide consistent starter in Manoah and that is scary for post season.

I’m sure he’ll bounce back and forth. Playoffs is who gets hot at the right time…but…at this point he’s not looking like you can fap about knowing you have him going into playoffs

Gausman needs to remove his leg bounce before the pitch and change how he brings the ball out of the glove (don't tap it). I think both lead to tipping his pitches

Yeah 3 game series at home. Homefield is key though, need to be the best wildcard team.

 

I mean we'll see how this weekend series against NY goes, but they're just having a miracle season so far.
