Effit Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 There’s some kind of curse on our starters when they get deep into a game. lol
Dagagad Verified Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 There’s some kind of curse on our starters when they get deep into a game. lol It’s why managers don’t let guys finish games when it’s close even if they are ‘rolling’ and dumbasses online are complaining.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Ouch, right off the side of the kneecap.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 So a pinch hitter that hits for an 0-2 batter once a game can hit 1.000 for the season? Lets make it happen.
Dagagad Verified Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Didn’t we have a Clemons in our system?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Which part don’t you understand? Guys are working on s*** constantly. It’s more valuable to get one more at bat from Zimmer and tapia plus get a tiny bit more rest for bichette and springer than it is for someone to hit for a f***ing meaningless cycle. I can’t explain it better than that. Like holy f***, springer misses, best case scenario, 20 games a year. Rest him any time you get a chance. It’s never valuable to have Zimmer step in the batters box. That s*** is a lost cause.
Dagagad Verified Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 It’s never valuable to have Zimmer step in the batters box. That s*** is a lost cause. The front office obviously doesn’t think so, so it’s the managers job to attempt to develop him. I agree though, I’d DFA his ass yesterday.
Dagagad Verified Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 God damn it, Yankees in bottom of tenth. Just need a run to win.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Didn’t we have a Clemons in our system? His brother, Koby a while back.
Dagagad Verified Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 His brother, Koby a while back. Koby and Kody? Lol
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Koby and Kody? Lol Roger loved K's, remember.
Dagagad Verified Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Roger loved K's, remember. Ah! lol… that’s commitment to the bit.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Easy win tonight. For some inexplicable reason, haterz were absent tonight.
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 So nice to just relax and enjoy an ass kicking Berrios is back baby!
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Roger loved K's, remember. The other two sons are Kory and Kacy. Kacy never played ball though
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Great game. Repeat tomorrow
Drumcliff Verified Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 The other two sons are Kory and Kacy. Kacy never played ball though FWIW, Kory didn’t play ball. Kacy was a first basement in the Blue Jays system. He made it to Double-A New Hampshire before being released two years ago.

Laika Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 You would think that they would have one pitcher in the lot. Perhaps the old mans shadow was too large. Roger needed hitters for live BP at home so he made his sons hitters. Simple.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Didn’t we have a Clemons in our system? Pinball?
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Pinball? I don't see a lot of people getting this 1990s Toronto Argonauts reference, but I did!
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 You would think that they would have one pitcher in the lot. Perhaps the old mans shadow was too large. Rocket Roger always wanted to hit. Trying to live that through his kids.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 I don't see a lot of people getting this 1990s Toronto Argonauts reference, but I did! 1 person is enough
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2022 Posted June 12, 2022 1 person is enough If you guys went with a Rocket Ismail reference, I would’ve gotten it
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2022 Posted June 12, 2022 If you guys went with a Rocket Ismail reference, I would’ve gotten it Any relation to Rocket Raimel?
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2022 Posted June 12, 2022 If you guys went with a Rocket Ismail reference, I would’ve gotten it I was a kid when Rocket Ismail hit the scene, and I ended up with a rookie card for him that I still have somewhere, 'cause as a dumb kid I assumed that would be worth a WHOLE LOT OF MONEY
