We've known this for a couple years now. Thats nothing new. The league adjusted to him and he hasn't adjusted back.

He played hurt last year. The numbers weren't any different in 19 and 20 and he was an above league average hitter both those years. He's had 5 ABs this year and did well in spring. I get not playing him tonight, but it's not like they didn't know this matchup was coming. There was no reason not to give him a pinch hit at bat or DH him instead of Collins the other game. Having confidence and playing well is a real thing in professional sports. Charlie's done his best to kill Biggio's confidence. 6 games in and 5 plate appearances.

Ok that was strike 3 to Gurriel

Ya but a pitch ago, it was a ball that was called strike.

We take these cause it adds 2 pitches to Cole's pitch count :P

I wonder if the tv frame is not good and we are blaming the umps

If it’s really close with the tv frame…I go to baseball savant. And usually find the umps are wrong

Nice rip by Tilapia but unfortunately he's 6'3'' and 110 pounds so an oppo homer is out of the question.

I was happy with that development; not a ground out or a K, good enough.

But the Kirk/Chapman/Tapia/Collins/Heineman part of our order is just sad to watch.

He must be hurt, something minor, not enough to send him to the IL.

From that list, Kirk has a chance to start hitting, the rest not sure

Superstar player makes it back to the field after an injury scare and there are 0 cheers from the Yankees crowd.

Not surprised that these same frumpy ****s that were just chanting "I hate Canada" have no consideration for that type of stuff.
