Right now this would be my opening day team. Need a couple more solid bench guys. Dont really want to hand a spot to a guy like Nathan Lukes when we are looking to go deep in the playoffs.

 

Mitch White and Trevor Richards can be optioned and DFAed respectively when a better option comes along (Pearson, Merryweather, Fernandez ect...). Kikuchi atm gets the 5 spot and should get his innings limited as much as possible unless his results are good. Ryu comes back 2nd half to slide into that role and Tiedemann should be an option by then as well.

I'd love to add Chad Green on a 2 year deal...stash him on the DL. I've always loved him and would love to see him in a Jays uni.

So then in that case White gets a free ride on the ML roster all year unless he sucks so bad his future outlook completely tanks. Cant really see Kikuchi going to AAA at this point after what he flashed as a multi inning reliever.

Does anyone think that Adam Duvall could be had on a show me deal? He would provide good defence and take KK's ab's against lefties. He could also be used to reduce Springer's workload to try to keep him healthy.

Duvall, Pham, Pollock, Cutch... probably a strong preference for RHB

Kikuchi offered to be sent down to remain as a starter last year. So I'm guessing he would be OK with it.

Well, he doesn't have the years of service accumulated to deny it, but I'm not sure how that works with International players? As mentioned he has been fine with it in the past.
