Why doesn't the bottom of the jumbotron align with the digital banner that extends around the stadium? That is going to bug me!

It's probably aligned if you're looking straight on at it. The jumbotron looks to be on the hotel part which looks like it's extended out closer to the field than the banner.

It might if you look at it straight on? Like not up from the ground.

Why don't we just have Siddel and Dan as our broadcast team?

YES!!! Cannot listen to Buck. Just can't. When he announces, I listen to music and watch the game. He is that annoying.

He's not as bad as "Gibby" calling the Tigers game the other day. After you watch some other teams home games... We don't have it that bad.

And a 2020 Wild Card banner in the rafters? Can't tell for sure.

If Gausman can equal last year's stats he could win 20, Manoah looks like a possible breakout star. Kikuchi was a bad signing, Berrios has never lived up to potential he'll pitch one good game then 2 mediocre ones, and Ryu pretty much cost them the playoffs last year. He was the worst starter in baseball over the last month, not at all surprised he's been nowhere near as good for the Jays as his 1 contract year for LA. Hopefully the same thing doesn't happen with Gausman as Ryu.

We have the 3rd or 4th ranked rotation in baseball - yet people still complain. People are the worst.

Always fun to see this sort of stuff. Hope the regular season breaks this way but the playoffs differently loll

Houston barely over .500 and the Angels dominating the west now that's funny. The only thing funnier is the Marlins winning the NL East by 6 games. I see the Jays in the 90-95 win range I don't think the pitching is good enough for 100, beating out NYY by 1 game would be fitting after what happened last year though.

Ya but look who's complaining. I complain a lot, but Felix is on a whole other level.

How is it "complaining" to offer a realistic assessment? For half the people on here it seems as if anything other than loving every single player on the team and predicting anything other than a WS ring is complaining.

Who says that? That sounds like your wishful thinking more than reality

Lots of publications.

And yes, it's viewed as complaining when you say things like Berrios has never reached his potential...what exactly is his potential? He's been a 4+ WAR starter the last 2 full seasons and is entering his age 28 season. Do you expect him to be DeGrom?

Berrios/Gausman are solid.. Ryu will be a 5IP max sometimes 6 if he's on a roll and will get hit around sometimes... Manoah can either breakout or regress but should still be a solid #4. Kikuchi's a wildcard that can bust or tap into his potential and possibly become #2 material.

It's not a "realistic assessment", you simply don't know what the f*** you are talking about. Berrios pitches one good game then two bad games? Since he became a regular starter in 2017 he's been the 14th most valuable starter in all of baseball. And you are complaining about guys like Gausman and Kikuchi before they've made a single regular season start in a Jays uniform. If you want to be taken seriously and not viewed as an annoying assclown with garbage opinions you need to smarten up and stop spouting nonsense in every goddamn post you make.

The Jays 5 starting pitchers on opening day last season were:

Ryu

Zeuch

Matz

Roark

Stripling

Anybody bitching about this years starting 5 on opening day might be a little bit retarded. I mean how much more improved can a starting rotation get in one season??

Also, the bullpen we started with last season was:

Romano

Dolis

Borucki

Chatwood

Phelps

Merryweather

Mayza

Thornton

Payamps

Doils, Chatwood and Payamps replaced by Cimber, Richards and Garcia.

It's not great, but is improved and should be solid enough.
