Montoyo would not say whether Walker would face any discipline from the club. Shortly after Walker and Montoyo gave their statements, the team issued its own which closely echoed Montoyo’s.

I didn't realize that was his second. But, IMO, LaRussa is a HOF manager, and Walker never has before. Two different scenarios.

Peter Walker is a great coach. Also an alcoholic who bangs women younger than his daughters lol. I don't think anyone cares that he gets piss drunk every night, just maybe don't drive when you do it.

 

I'm sure Jays just hope it blows over next few days and can get back to business. Not something he should get fired imo.

If I was single, his age, and sort of famous, I would bang anything that moves to be honest. I don't hold that against him. He was driving while impaired. A suspension is warranted, and he needs to donate some money to MADD, take some courses, or whatever. I don't know PW, but he seems like a really cool dude. He could be an alcoholic and genuinely needs help. I have fought alcoholism most of my adult life and it's not fun. But on the other hand, maybe he just had a stupid night and drove while under the influence. Our premier has one DUI and has killed someone while driving a car (Scott Moe). I think PW can walk away from this and still have a job. Hopefully he has learned his lesson. Just f***ing call Uber, man. $20 to preserve a solid career coaching. Well worth it.

It's always amazing to me when people who have enough money to afford an uber at any time decide to drive drunk. It's such a simple decision to not do something stupid, that gets you in trouble and raises the risk of you causing harm to a bystander.

I think its definitely an age thing, lots of people 40ish and older think driving drunk isn’t a big deal. Probably because their parents used to do it all the time.

 

“Well im only putting myself in danger, if I crash then so be it”. People that drive drunk don’t seem to consider the fact they are endangering everyone on the road.

 

You should always be thinking about how you’re getting home BEFORE the drinking starts. A lot of these guys just don’t plan at all
