Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Charlie's already DHing Tapia over Kirk! I hope we never see Taipa DH this season lol.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Tapia DH. IT HAS BEGUN! I'm gonna hold out hope that this is just because it's spring training
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 What horrible base running from Vlad but ah well... it's spring lol
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 I feel like some speakers are getting thrown around in the Yankees locker room tonight.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Hold your breath as Vladdy runs through the stop sign.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Tapia making contact to get the run in.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Jansen looking like Jansen at the plate.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Springer out for 3 months with a pulled groin

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2022 Author Posted April 3, 2022 ...Yet. Technology is advancing so quickly, you never know. Jays have already been linked to the ghost of Jose Ramirez...
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Jays have already been linked to the ghost of Jose Ramirez... Make it happen Shatkins. Reese McGuire and a ghost to be named later.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2022 Author Posted April 3, 2022 Need a healthy Springer this season, that was a blast.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 This team will be a blast to watch. I don't think we've ever had a team so offensively powerful in our history. Runs galore!
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Hope that lady is ok. Sounds like she’s being murdered.
Signal Verified Member Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Am I the only one who wishes the Jays did more to bolster the bullpen? Still think they should make a move to find another closer to compete with Romano. Always best to have two guys that you can count on to close a game.
bzapple Verified Member Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Damn that Spencer Henson guy does not look like a pro athlete at all. Some serious Jeremy Brown energy.

Good chance that Pearson is a 2nd high leverage reliever competing with Romano.

Given the Jays play 30 games in 31 days to begin the season, I would not be surprised if the Jays begin the season with a 6 man rotation. Especially given how short spring training has been this year. Even if they dare to go with a 5 man rotation for the first month, Pearson has not proven to be a closer. While I have high hopes for him, do think the Jays would be prudent to find another arm that has MLB experience closing out games.

Yates and Hand acquired last season, didn't work out. There is enough talent on the active roster and in the minors, let's see what we have in hand first before trading for bullpen pieces that might be shittier than what we already have.
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Yeah no point in trading for BP help now. Kimbrel was unhittable last year with the Cubs, gets traded to the White Sox and sucks ass. Now they've already moved him out. I wanted another historically effective BP arm or two signed in free agency, like McHugh for example. But too late now for that.
Ryu In My House Verified Member Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 This team will be a blast to watch. I don't think we've ever had a team so offensively powerful in our history. Runs galore! EE, JB and JD was a great trio, but this team, top to bottom (IMO) is just way more balanced and talented.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Make it happen Shatkins. Reese McGuire and a ghost to be named later. Foreshadowing.
