Probably longer than it’ll take for Pearson to land on the DL

Didn't watch the game but how was Tapia in CF? Assuming for a guy with his speed and lack of reps at that position, he's horrible out there lol.

He gets really bad reads at any position, but covers an awful lot of ground once he gets going. They don't really show enough in spring training broadcasts to be able to tell.

So frustrating to see someone with good stuff unable to put it together. He'll go to Tampa and be lights out.

 

Totally agree. This guy is Loup 2.0. I doubt he's making this team but will figure it out somewhere and become an elite LH reliever. He has the stuff. It's probably going to be the f***ing Rays.

Ehhhh fair. I just think he’s going to absolutely suck but hoping to be wrong. He’s been extremely unimpressive so far.

He’s signed for 3 years at a non-insignificant AAV, so he’s here to stay until at least 2024.

 

They wouldn’t punt him in year 1 although there might be a chance he pitches out of the bullpen if he’s doing really poorly.

 

I think he’s fine as a 5th starter though, his numbers with Seattle weren’t terrible
