Dude's ERA track record is hard to look at.

 

I know he eats innings like a champ so in like 6 of his seasons he has been league average by WAR but a coinflip for an ERA better than 5 isn't awesome.

So the Jays reportedly made offers to Verlander, Heaney, and Gibson. Pretty much the entire spectrum of available pitching, from the top end, to the middle, to the lower end. Curious to see who they end up with. I'm guessing Heaney, but hopefully they are aiming a lot higher.

Or you can not leave it to change and get testosterone injections to put the clock back to 21yo. Heard from a friend. Basically you get set to a level of say 1200-1400 and you don’t have to worry about cycling or any of the shrunken balls stuff

Actually In reading a little about it, it seems to be very likely. With steroids, you’re assuming they’re just pumping these insane amounts like Jose Canseco. But you can do some of these T programs to stop you at a level to get you back to your early 20’s, but not enough to fail a test.

 

Things like injectable pellets that dissolve over time. Or a carefully administered program thorough a mens clinic. This is achievable for the average Joe, so in knowing a little more about it, I’d imagine it’s widely used in pro sports

I lost a nut to cancer a few years ago. My T levels are borderline low. Sounds like I should start taking T so I feel like a million bucks again! There are side effects though I believe.
