Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 People not watching this circus act are silly. I never had should've traded him.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Hahaha... Rays Babip'ing the s*** out of Boston!!! Well... lots of walks too.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Nice play at the plate, 3B coach is a moron. lol
Benito Verified Member Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 The Orioles have a better record than the Angels. That's ummmm... Something I find that sad. It shouldn't be too difficult to build a team that could contend, with two historic/generational/8-9 WAR players in a relatively weak division. Angels have had maybe 2 plus .500 seasons in last decade. Does Trout ask for a trade at some point?

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Ray's beat Bos again, keeps us close. Half a game behind both.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Hr's go out pathetically at the Astrodome, i'll take it.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 No one watching ball lately, obviously. I mean the Bucs swept the Dodgers Team's lose when scuffling, I bet the Yanks scuffle into the playoffs. It happens, a lot. Chill.

AMS528 Verified Member Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 It would be really fun to watch Ohtani pitch and hit in the playoffs. Too bad we will never see that happen.

He has had his run and fun. He cut them up with scissors. Also it was insane because if he was that mad what he could have done is just cut his own, but because he's a dumbass he cut up every single other players jerseys as well. Can you imagine the kind of person that just sits there and does that? Like some kind of weird psycho arts and crafts project.

He hated some special edition White Sox jerseys so much that he snuck in and cut them all up with scissors so they wouldn't have to wear them

BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Some on here were mentioning going after Schwarbs, they didn't seem to get his value, like at all. I thought he would have been great in this line up. Lots of K but also lots of BB and always a threat. Sucks on D but can get by in LF/DH. When we pay Ryu 4/80 and Kooch 3/36 it didnt seem like that much. No idea if he would have come here but that LH thump in this line up would have been devastating for pitchers to face. Our offense has been good but I have envy over the LH bats in the Astros/NYY and BoSox line up. I think that lack of impact from the left side is more important than most (taking nothing away from Biggio resurgence).
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Regardless of this embarrassment, Sale is apparently going to start for the Red Sox on Tuesday

He's light years better with the bat than Tapia, and though usually worse on D, Tpaia has played so terribly in the field this year Schwarber would actually represent an upgrade.
