Can't be right, he's huge, big and strong

Just the way Tabby likes em

I knew what you were up to.

Also, Tyler Stephenson is the new No. 1 fantasy C.

Good thing there wasn’t any shrewd people that would’ve gobbled him up as their dynasty C. Weaker league I guess

Moncada with a 3 run bomb to tie the game at 7 each

And in response, Yankees put up a 7 spot lol

SSS alert but Jakob Junis has an 8.74 ERA in 3 AAA starts and an ERA of 1.20 in 3 MLB starts (an opener was used for two of them).

Giants will turn Jakob Junis into the next Kevin Gausman!

I may have vastly under estimated the Yankees.

They’re on a 120 win pace. Even against an easy schedule, that’s insane.

oof; the walks haunt. The entire pitching roster gives up so many walks.

I get that the smart money doesn't go in the pen, but the Jays need to figure out a way to develop guys that throw 97+, with a strikeout secondary pitch, and throw strikes...or find them in other organizations and get them here. Thornton, Saucey and the like are not the answer.

Yeah we don't have enough fireballers at all. Seems like other teams run them out there one after the other against us.

The Jays are actually 11th in BB%, that tweet is wrong. Limiting walks is actually one of the few things the bullpen has been doing above average.

The Tweet said bullpen only

But is that still wrong?

The starters certainly have a reasonable walk rate

Bullpen should be good enough for the offense we were SUPPOSED to have lol

But yeah, hopefully the Jays FO can get better at developing/finding/grooming high leverage relievers that can limit walks and miss bats.

It's their biggest weakness so far in my opinion.

Hopefully Pearson can be an internal option.

Almost essential. We need it. I still hold out hope Merryweather figures it out. Scratch my head at his struggles. Too much center cut. Mayza got sent down in 21 and got it together. Hope Merryweather can do the same.

Ya, 11th in bullpen BB%.

Our starters are 2nd.

Overall combined we're 4th.

Matt Harrington jumped to mind.

Trevor Rosenthal is still out there and supposed to be holding a showcase in the next little while.

Sure wouldn't mind seeing the Jays nab him if he looks half way decent. Talk about a guy that knows how to miss bats.

Apparently a lot of interest though.

He made poor choices.

2000 - Drafted 7th overall by the Rockies. The Rockies' final offer was $4 million($1M more then 1st overall) and a guaranteed major league callup by the end of 2002.

2001 - Drafted by the San Diego Padres with the 58th overall pick. Turned down a $1.2 million signing bonus. Boras was asking for double that.

2002 - Drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the 13th round. Was offered 13th round money.

2003 - Reds in the 24th Round.

2004 - Yankees in the 36th Round.

2009 - Worked for the local Costco store, in the tire department, earning $11.50 per hour.
