BCZ Verified Member Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 Red Sox... for various reasons and I want the Sweet Caroline song to DIAF.
Virgil_Hiltz Verified Member Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 Wish I could vote for both NYY and RedSox....I loathe any team from NYC period and the Stankies are at the top of the list!
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 Close between the Yankees/Red Sox but chose the Yankees.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 O's Always a team of Grade A *******s, other than Ripken who was Ok I guess
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 Hating the Sox or Yanks is just a fandom rule. My vote is the Angels for being perennial f***ing failures.
Virgil_Hiltz Verified Member Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 O's Always a team of Grade A *******s, other than Ripken who was Ok I guess Worst and whiniest fanbase of any team....but can we really blame them for whining?
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 Voted Tigers. They've been the most uninteresting team in baseball for half a decade now.
Laika Community Moderator Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 I think the correct answer is the Royals.
Laika Community Moderator Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 Royals cost us a World Series. also they are so smarmy about that lucky season with a bunch of slapdick hitters and relievers
mellowgold Verified Member Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 Other than the obvious Red Sox/Yankees choice, I'm gonna go with Texas. Even though they're both long gone from the organization, are there two more unlikeable people in baseball than Bannister and Odor?
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 I love how the Rays operate but I despise the Rays.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 There are several. Yanks, RedSox, Ray's, Royals. I went with Rays cause it feels like they're always doing it with smoke and mirrors, we suck in Tampa, their fan base is a joke and they don't deserve the success.

That end part be fighting words for some of these dudes

saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 I voted Boston, but after seeing Gallo hit a 3 run homer that went 331 feet and had and expected BA of .200 can I change my vote. What a garbage park.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Royals cost us a World Series. Twice.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Answer is Rays. s*** franchise, s*** fanbase, and those Poindexters find new ways to make baseball shittier by gaming the system for a couple extra wins in a year. I'd rank them most hated to least: Rays Yankees Red Sox Orioles Astros (not because of the trash can thing, but because of the lame intentional tanking 10 years ago that really started the increase in that trend) Rangers Browns Royals White Sox Angels Mariners Twins Tigers A's (I will never hate this team because of that sweet colour scheme)
Bluebombers Verified Member Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Gotta go Yankees Always hated them Always will
JonMc Verified Member Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Yankees. Moreso that the Yes Network reminds me of the God Channel.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Reason to love the Rays. They have a s***** situation and make the best of it. They force the MLB to make changes, as it kills the already dying fanbase. They prove everyone wrong every day, every year. Fun fact they have beat their pre-season over under number 12 of the past 14 years. Betting the Rays over is the Amazon investment of sports betting. It for some reason annoys everyone here that I became a fan of this team when I couldn't stand AA no longer. Since dropping the Devil 14 years ago they have had the second most 90 win seasons and are 5th in wins. Proving they are doing the lord's work. The Lord being Friedman of course.
WryNGinger Verified Member Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 I went with the Rays. They keep out-performing their economic situation yet can't draw fans into the stadium. I would love to see them moved to a city that supports them more.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Agreed on the Rays, for the reasons mentioned already. s***** + often empty stadium, non-existent fanbase despite great success, cheap ass owners, and contributed greatly in hurting the aesthetic value of the sport (though they are not alone in that). If they moved the franchise to Nashville and actually had fans attend games every now and then while also spending a bit on payroll, then maybe my opinion would change.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 All of them! Voted Bosox cause f*** them!
Governator Community Moderator Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 For me it's the Rangers ever since that series. I had tickets to the batflip game that I had to sell last minute because of work so that rivalty is forever stuck in my head.
