John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 I'll say this for Wade, at least he isn't walking them in.
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Lol this team. Lose another 1 run game then come back and win with a f***ing laugher.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Jays woke up today and chose violence. What a beatdown.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Lol, poor Gurriel. He wants a hit so bad to join the party but just cant get that timing right now
Slyfisher Verified Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 If this offence can be consistent especially with RISP we've got a shot of contending for the AL. Some bullpen help would be great too

JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 So do we save Ryu for another day?
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 So do we save Ryu for another day? Yes. He should be taken out after 7. Whether he will or not is another question.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 So when does Montoyo bring Romano in? Lol
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 So do we save Ryu for another day? No. Half the bullpen issues are overuse. We need some games where we can rest them.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 So do we save Ryu for another day? Ryu can go 8, pen needs rest imo. Low pitch count. Assuming he gets out of this jam.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Gurriel has a great arm, still safe. Take ryu out now
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Reese with another pathetic tag. I can recall at least 3 plays he's botched at home because he doesn't know where or how to catch the ball.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Damn... Ryu's outing just became bad for his numbers just like that...
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Can we actually lose with a 12-0 lead? Stay tuned
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Lol why can’t things ever be easy... feel like whoever comes out of the pen will give up 2 runs each. This game could get close by the 9th
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Author Posted June 26, 2021 This has been a recurring theme throughout the year. Jays starters haven't been able to have clean last innings. So many times guys have entered the 5th, 6th and 7th innings with no runs given up and then they implode. Ryu looks like Cy Young all day long, retires 14 straight and then exits with 4 earned runs and his line looks ugly on paper.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 first pitch dead centre of the plate lol

JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Shouldn’t the manager be able to tell when the starters look tired/done? what manager?

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Thanks Joe West for that 2-1 strike call
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Yes. We all remember when Charlie let Giles’ arm fall off in the first series of the season last year in Tampa. He’s absolutely clueless.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
