Oh I def agree with that. I'm all about do what's best for your team but just stating what I think will happen because of Semien's current contractual status. We had 0 issues with moving Vlad all over last year offensively/defensively when he wasn't performing and I feel Bo should be no different. Although we had the weight excuse to lessen the blow with Vlad last year.

 

However, the main reason why anyone is throwing strikes to Bo right now is because Vlad is behind him as someone already mentioned previously. I'm scared to think how he'd perform if moved down and like you said, batting 5th is still a great spot in this lineup and probably where I see Semien realistically.
