I wouldn't call it a race thing rather these two are the biggest band wagon cheerleaders in the history of broadcasting.

I don't know. Pick any metric... I'm not sure there's a single metric where Bichette is better than Vlad. Like in no way shape or form is Bichette a better hitter.

Too early to discuss Vladdy MVP?

Pretty sure I saw an article on mlb.com saying just that. Didn’t click on it but I don’t think you’re a trailblazer

So no masks or anything now in the States? I know they half pretended covid was not real and stuff but are they basically back to normal?

Pretty much. I know the tightly packed sections of the park are only for fully-vaccinated (both doses required). There are non-vaccinated sections that are more spaced out I believe.

Anything happening with Springer ?

Still “fatigued” unfortunately. Haven’t heard a solid update.

What a huge boost to the line up Gurriel being Gurriel would be.

It especially feels great when we were getting by decently without the real Gurriel and no Springer. Holy f*** what's it going to be like at the time Kirk is back?

Holy f***.

Last I read no timetable for his return. They want him to be able to do everything needed in the field and at the plate without issue. End of June would be my guess.

Here you go, todays update...

Latest News

Jun 1, 5:26 PM EDT EDT

Springer (quadriceps) ran the bases and took flyballs in the outfield Tuesday, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Analysis

Manager Charlie Montoyo said that Springer looked good while participating in activities Tuesday. However, Montoyo also said that the 31-year-old will have to do similar activities Wednesday before the Blue Jays determine his progress. Springer suffered a setback with his right quad in early May and has been brought along slowly since then, but he could be nearing a rehab assignment if he continues to make progress in the coming days.

Holy f***.

Fully healthy:

CF Springer

SS Bichette

1B Vlad jr

DH Teoscar

2B Semien

LF Gurriel

RF Grichuk

C Kirk

3B Biggio

Ideally flip Biggio and Semien defensively but it’s a murderer’s row. With a rotation that looks something like

Ryu

Ray

Matz

Pearson

Manoah

Semien should be at 2 tbh

Swap Bo and Semien.

Armchair time - Romano doesn't have it tonight - do you stick with him with the bases juiced?

I’d give him another batter
