He's not a 4A scrub, but he's no star either. He's a slightly below average hitter for his career and hasn't been great the last 3 years. He had a .297 OBP coming in. I was wondering why the sox had him as the leadoff hitter, but 2 hits and a homer....who am I to judge.

Kike Hernandez is actually a really solid player. They actually built a nice bench with Marwin Gonzalez who can play pretty much anywhere as well. I wish we had a guy that. Every year our bench is abysmal.
