King Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 I tried to warn all of you about Cole Irvin and nobody listened.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 Much like Matz yesterday, Kay wasn't all that bad outside one inning and a handful of pitches. His bigger issue was missing outside the strikezone whereas Matz hung a few too many. The offspeed and breaking balls weren't particularly sharp which put the fastball, which I think looked pretty good most of the outing, in danger of being hit.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 I tried to warn all of you about Cole Irvin and nobody listened. What makes you think nobody listened?

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 I tried to warn all of you about Cole Irvin and nobody listened. What exactly should people have been doing with your warning?
King Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 What exactly should people have been doing with your warning? They would have gone to bed and checked the score of the loss in the morning.
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 the oakland pitcher is just cruising only 60 pitches thrown.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 What exactly should people have been doing with your warning? lol exactly, wtf do you want a cookie bro?
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 took them a long time to wait on the changeup he's been throwing at least 2 changeups per batter
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 still showing that horrible camera angle eh...
King Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 lol exactly, wtf do you want a cookie bro? People just don't want to acknowledge the truth.
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 bichette was sitting on the changeup at that at bat. The pitcher knew that having seen previos two batters wait on the change. So in that case Bichette has to key on the fastball.
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 Im suprised they havent banned spitting in baseball with all the covid stuff happening.
King Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 Im suprised they havent banned spitting in baseball with all the covid stuff happening. How the f*** are you going to enforce that?
Jgarza868899 Verified Member Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 9 more outs...... can the offense make the comeback
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 I just googled it apparently last year MLB tried to enforce a no spitting policy in baseball. Not sure if it's still in effect this year.
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 Irvin has got a lot of borderline calls tonight
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 It doesnt look like we even know Irvin has a changeup
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 How the f*** are you going to enforce that? $1,000 fine every instance. It would stop in a hurry (or some youth baseball facilities would be upgraded dramatically).
