Hand eye coordination is off the charts. Any sport involving hitting a ball with a club. Baseball, golf, cricket, ping pong, badminton. We have a true mult-sport athlete on our hands.
Ray Verified Member Posted March 12, 2021 Author Posted March 12, 2021 I’m excited to see Thomas Hatch today. Keep an eye out for a curveball he’s apparently been working on this offseason. It’s going to tunnel really well with the rest of his pitches. He’s one of the few pitchers that check every box for me in terms of becoming a good starting pitcher: - High-spin, moderate velocity fastball - Effective secondary pitches that can get both sides of the plate out - Incredibly poised and composed on the mound - Clean bill of health and limited injuries up to this point - Smooth, easy delivery test - No discernible issue throwing strikes on a consistent basis Have a feeling he might end up being one of our best starters/bulk guys.

The best part is they Jays got him for basically nothing!
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Have a feeling he might end up being one of our best starters/bulk guys. It's time for the annual sports gut threads.

I'm also high on Hatch. Very smooth delivery.
Ray Verified Member Posted March 12, 2021 Author Posted March 12, 2021 It's time for the annual sports gut threads. Do we have a 2021 bold predictions thread yet? Because I'm ready to make some really bold proclamations about winning 100 games after we put up 10 runs against the AA Tigers.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 So the game they broadcast, the Jays decide to play the scrubs but yesterday they play everyone. BOOOOOOO!!!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 If Davis' bat didn't break, that ball would've been gone.

Laika Community Moderator Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 whyyyyyy is Vlad such an aggressive baserunner dude wears a f***ing sliding glove like he is Rajai Davis
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 What's the deal with Trent thornton. Is he still hurt or is he in camp throwing?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 whyyyyyy is Vlad such an aggressive baserunner dude wears a f***ing sliding glove like he is Rajai Davis Generally I agree but I think most guys would have been doubled up in that situation
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Generally I agree but I think most guys would have been doubled up in that situation He basically sprinted to second on contact, it was a very low IQ play. On a ball hit to the shortstop you probably should be able to at worst take one step to second and have plenty of time to retreat. Vlad was out by 6 feet.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Gotta love vetrin Tommy Milone coming into the game and destroying some poor teenager with crafty changeups.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Cole Tucker's girlfriend. He was with her at the end of last season.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Uhh, that was a catch. What the the f***ing world was the ump thinking not calling that an out?
