connorp Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 I’ve been to IHOP but never tried these. I went to two Bluejay games, did some other cool stuff with my son, went to see my bro in Daytona.. but if someone asked me the highlight, it’s those pancakes. May look too sweet but it’s just the perfect combo of pancake and sweet. IHOP is also just the perfect ratio of pancake. Not too fluffy or heavy. Just right.

Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Theres a lot more than just those. 2 games vs TB at home in Dunedin in May where Chatwood/Bergen walked in like 4 runs in the 9th with a 2 run lead and then a extra inning game where we could have walked off with a sac fly twice but Biggio and Teo choked. Game vs CLE in early June when Chatwood imploded again and walked 5 batters. All 3 games in Buffalo vs the Yankees where the bullpen blew late leads. Game vs BOS in Dunedin in May where Dolis gave up a 2 out 2 run homer to JD to blow a 2 run lead in the 9th. The Detroit game where Kirk let the tying run score on a passed ball in the 8th. So many winnable games pissed away. The other Detroit game where Palacios dives for a ball and gives up a inside the parker. We get half of these games won and we challenge for the division. Crazy season... all that was mostly pre trade deadline, it seems like a different world. Best team to not make the playoffs? There was a 538 article about it.

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Expos in the strike shortened season. Damn, that was a good team. Not really in the same spirit of the article though, nobody made the playoffs that season.
mellowgold Verified Member Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Just grabbed some tickets for the Thursday game against the Yanks. The tickets are allegedly "physically distanced" POD seating. Does anyone know HOW physically distanced the seats are?
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 This is going to go against my DNA to hope either Bosox or NYY wins a ballgame, but I guess we are hoping the BoSox roll them? (not that it matters to what happens)

Funky Verified Member Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 We sat section 113AR the other day. Physically distanced. No one in the seats in the row in front or behind us. People in those rows about 10 feet over. I would say easily 6 ft distance at the minimum. Once the game started not a mask to be seen.

Ryu In My House Verified Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Assuming Semien is walking, do you guys think Biggio has a shot to do well at 2B? And here's another one...trade for JD? Twins eat 50% of contract for 2-3 prospects? Then we sign Ray.

Bryant would be nice but maybe we should push for a lefty. Definitely try to bring Ray back.

Doubt he would come to Toronto though, unless the Jays significantly overpay.

Or maybe not, I don't know the guy
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 How far away is Groshans? 2023? 2023 is reasonable estimate. Of course, he could demolish the upper minors next year and up in june

If a "your mom" joke is the best you got after a short ban, you probably need another one to come up with better material.

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Same lineup with Springer leading off tonight... Charlie really just gonna sit on his hands and let the team sink. Not even gonna try to shake things up.

Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Semien will go back to a Cali team probably. Move Biggio back to 2nd but I don't want to see Espinal as the full time 3B while at the same time hoping Biggio rebounds at 2B. If Semien does leave, hopefully they can make a key signing at 2B or 3B to help fill the void left behind. I think Ray re-signs in the off season. I think he'd be signed already but the Jays want to make sure he makes it to the end healthy.
