Im honestly surprised they did it so soon. I thought they’d give him at least a months worth of starts.

 

Jeez this has to be one of the worst FA signings in franchise history. Literally his only job was to eat innings and he’s given us 50 innings of 5+ ERA.

Roark sitting @91 MPH and not locating well means his value as a MLB player is gone. Practice throwing a knuckleball, sidearm or lefthanded because you have too many miles on that arm otherwise to be useful.

There isn't really a reason to keep Roark on the roster. He's not the kind of guy who goes to the pen and finds success. Would like to see them just eat the sunk cost and move on.

But this off season he never would have got more than 1 year so it's still regrettable
