Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Just walk Panik. I want more Biggio and Bichette.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 I thought Cano was going to forget to throw to first
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 The bottom part is entirely false You are a good and knowledgable poster The top part is entirely false
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Pitchers just lose the strikezone against Panik. Its hilarious.
labadee Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 lol cano had time to look, sigh, and casually throw kirk out

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 You are a good and knowledgable poster The top part is entirely false Very insightful, but put the BS in a bucket next time not the thread
Dokken Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 The bottom part is entirely false I don't think anyone can say true or false to what I posted - it is only speculation. I don't trust the 'company line' when they 'assure us' that Vlad works hard and blah blah blah. I think we all want him to succeed but so far he is just not looking very good. The one thing he has on his side is his young age.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Kirk has looked really good at C tonight

The one thing he has on his side is his young age. I mean on a whole its pretty much impossible to tell, but he did lose weight pre ST and during the season. He has put effort into it. He is only 21 so the fact he has made an effort i think bodes well. Next season he could be a monster if he can do it again
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Kirk has looked really good at C tonight He also actually looks lethal with a bat in his hand unlike our other options.

Some people are just naturally prone to be fat and he seems like one of them (like a Pablo Sandoval). I don't expect a 'slim and trim' Vlad, just the guy you mentioned that showed up in Feb. this year.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 I don't know why they don't play davis jr in centre.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 I agree with the idea that he has gotten by on his pure talent until getting to MLB, and now that it is actually 'hard', he doesn't have the work ethic (especially in physical conditioning, but also in mental toughness and baseball IQ). That’s a bit harsh.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Kirk has not had easy guys to catch, aside from Bass I guess

Next season he could be a monster if he can do it again Id also add, if Vlad hasn't hit the wall so much for singles, just a minute change in launch angle he would have like 7 more HRs than he does. He has been good for a 21 year old who is trying to change launch angle during the season, while learning a new position and being pitched very carefully compared to others
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Looks like Dolis can’t find the zone tonight
Ex Player Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Double play, baby!! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 lol for once we get to be on the other side of a slow ass dude
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 I'm a fan of Kirk but that was a pretty awful blocking attempt.
